In Brazil, a group of women were passing by a bush and heard little cries coming from within. As they took a closer look, they found something truly unexpected.

“I thought they were a dog and when I looked at them I realized they were two babies,” said one of the women aftermaking the startling discovery.

On the bare ground laid a pair of abandoned newborn twins with their umbilical cords still attached. The police officers investigating the case believe someone drove up in a white van, dumped the newborns soon after their birth, and then fled the scene, leaving them behind.

One of the little girls weighed 6lbs, while her sister weighed just a little over 3lbs.

It’s terrifying to think what would have happened if someone had not found them in time. Thankfully God took care of these two babies.

At the hospital, the doctors cleaned up the newborn twins and gave them a full examine. The pair were in stable condition.

Everyone at the hospital was cheering on the precious little girl twins. They even gave them each a special name.

One baby girl is named Eloa, which means “God.” The other girl is named Heloisa, which means “Warrior Woman.”

Medical staff are keeping a very close eye on the newborn twins at the hospital until they have gained more weight. Once they have gained enough weight, these little miracles will go up for adoption. Despite their traumatic beginning into this world, we have no doubt our God has big plans for these tough girls!
